VEA x Forum Restaurant

With much delight we debuted【Tribute to The Roots】series themed “Chinese Umami” that headlined three-Michelin-starred Forum Restaurant for a first-ever brunch experience.

The “Chinese Umami" brunch was the first-of-its-kind at VEA, channelling a more relaxed vibe during daytime than its usual fine-dining setting for dinner. Most highly anticipated were collaborative dishes including Ah Yat 30-Head Yoshihama Dried Abalone with Matsutake Grilled Cheese(阿一鮑魚吉品30頭 配 松茸芝士三文治), and To Gor Mandarin Peel Char Siu with Vicky's XO Sauce Ah Yat Fried Rice(滔哥陳皮叉燒 配 Vicky XO醬阿一炒飯).

“The ‘Tribute to The Roots’ series commemorates the return of our humble beginnings, and there is no better way to kick off the series with Forum Restaurant, celebrating our passion and love of Chinese ingredients,” said Chef Vicky. “It is a true blessing to be curating a special menu with like-minded people who pay equal amounts of respect to our traditions and execute them with brilliant, authentic ideas.”

The brunch menu was completed with well thought out cocktail pairing by mixologist Antonio Lai and Chinese wine pairing by our sommelier.

The【Tribute to The Roots】series is a major event in VEA Restaurant's annual calendar that invites one Chinese master chef each year for a collaboration.
